Sydney Opera House at Chicago O'Hare

Sydney Opera House, Australia
Australian school children run up to the SOH, designed by Danish architect Jorn Utzon. Photograph by Annie Griffiths.
I just love the composition of Griffiths' photograph, as if she (we) were a parent trailing her (our) little one closely by.  The Sydney Opera House is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Taj Mahal, India at Chicago O'Hare

Taj Mahal, India
A watery moat reflects the giant white marble domes of India's Taj Mahal. Photography by Bob Krist.
At Chicago O'Hare, as I waited to board the Turkish Airlines flight to Istanbul, Turkey, then to Dammam, Saudi Arabia, I saw an exhibit of UNESCO World Heritage Sites.  I was quite taken by these photographs.

Christmas Trappings along Chicago O'Hare

It was Friday evening, January 2nd, and Karen, Eva and I were en route to Chicago O'Hare.  I secured a major contract with a Saudi Arabian company, but while I looked forward to getting us back on track financially, I dreaded being away from my wife and daughter.  Ah, this will be time-limited, and I plan on us doing some exciting things this year.

And along the highway to the airport were still the festive trappings of Christmas.
